Beyond Failure
Fundraiser evening of poetry, panel discussion and DJ set exploring the future of spatial writing with Failed Architecture.
15 years ago, Failed Architecture launched. Through articles, podcasts, and events, FA reconnects architecture with the real world.
This is a fundraiser for Failed Architecture, borrowing the event name from our beginnings. When FA launched the founding editors held a series of live events in the Netherlands called Beyond Failure, asking: what is the success of failure, the resilience of architecture, and the critic's responsibility in a ravaged world?
Fifteen years later the editors return with Beyond Failure pt. 2, a cross-border series now coming to London, Bogotá, and Jakarta. Join Failed Architecture and friends in London on 8 October at Horse Hospital to question and imagine what the future of spatial writing could look like.
Expect poetry with Edwina Attlee; a panel discussion with Charlie Clemoes, Shumi Bose, Phineas Harper, Abiba Coulibaly and Kitya Mark; and a DJ set with Lay Kus. See you there for celebration, critical reflection and hopeful speculation.
