BESTIARY

Anastasiia Pantiukhina is a designer, illustrator and animator based in Luxembourg and Germany. Anastasiia explores the relationship between childhood and adulthood, drawing inspiration from the absurdities of everyday life. Through her narrative imagery, she invites us to reflect: What happens when we use childhood strategies to navigate adult life? At the same time, her work reminds us of the essential qualities of being a child – curiosity, imagination and openness – qualities we still need as adults. This exhibition is titled Bestiary . In the Middle Ages, bestiaries were illustrated collections of real and mythical creatures, ranging from lions to dragons. This showcase is populated by a variety of human characters and offers a humorous exploration of their behaviour.
