Free leveled book kits for kindergarten and early elementary readers available to borrow at the Brook Park Branch

We've paired two fun books into themed Beginning Reader Kits:
A Beginner Level first-reader book and a picture book, with fun extension activities to build reading skills -- AND tips for grown-ups on how to help your child develop their reading and comprehension skills!
They are leveled in Kindergarten (just beginning), K-1st grade, 1st grade, and 1st - 2nd grade levels.
Ask our children's librarian if you have questions or need help!
The levels include:
• Brand-new Beginners - Kindergarten level
• Developing Beginners - K-1st grade level
• Higher Developing Beginners - 1st-2nd grade level
You can check out up to 3 at a time -- just return the books and keep the extras!
