Have you always wanted to make a patchwork quilt but weren't quite sure where to begin?

Join textile designer and tutor Nancy Moreland of Nifty Needles for this 4-week beginners' course, with four 3-hour classes designed to guide you step by step through the process of making your very first quilt.

Using a traditional 4-patch design, you'll learn the essential skills and techniques of patchwork and quilting - from accurate rotary cutting and sewing a ¼" seam, through piecing and pressing your blocks, matching seams and assembling your quilt top, to adding borders, layering, quilting and binding your quilt.

No previous patchwork or quilting experience is required. However, participants should be familiar with the basic operation of their own sewing machine which you will need to bring each week.
