Beekeeping Basics
A free intro class on beekeeping with a short lesson and hands-on practice in the apiary, protective gear provided.
Join us for an introduction to beekeeping. The session begins with a 30-minute classroom lesson covering essential concepts, followed by guide, hands-on practice in the apiary.
Participants will have the opportunity to wear protective gear and observe the bees at their own comfort level, whether from a distance or up close.
This class is led by Master Gardener Volunteer and member of Lake County Beekeepers, Giles Paget-Wilkes.

Details: Registration is required. Signed waiver is required and will be provided before class starts. Protective gear is provided. This class is for ages 12 and up. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring water.
