BASEMENT CIRCUITS
Experimental Sounds at Brevevita
Basement Circuits returns for its second night at Brevevita on 14 October.
Following our pilot night with Lammas, Cush and Simon Mos, we're back with the same format and the same intimate setting: three live performances exploring instrumental pieces, ambient electronics, sound improvisation and live experimentation.
An evening built around listening, discovery and sounds that sit a little outside the usual live music format. TIM HORNE Tim Horne is a Margate-based musician who uses synthesisers, acoustic instruments and field recordings to compose cinematic ambient and electronic music.
His new album, Transmutation , is released on 8 October via Coastal Electronauts Records. ARCONIC Arconic is the ambient electronic project of Rob Parton, bringing together field recordings, emotive soundscapes and detailed sound design to create immersive, atmospheric compositions.
A new Arconic EP will be released on 11 October via Endless Geometry. SAS Stuart — percussion / Saulius — electronics
A collision of live percussion and electronic sound. Moving through improvised soundscapes, shifting rhythms and rich ambient textures, SAS creates an immersive dialogue between acoustic percussion and electronics — occasionally breaking form to explore more unpredictable sonic territory. ABOUT BASEMENT CIRCUITS Basement Circuits is a community-driven series dedicated to experimental music, unconventional listening and intimate live performance.
The idea is simple: three artists or projects, an intimate setting and the freedom to explore ambient, electronic, acoustic and improvised music without the constraints of a traditional gig format.
The series takes place downstairs at Brevevita Natural Wine Bar , specialising in natural wines from the east coast of Central Italy.
Capacity is limited to around 25 people , keeping each session intimate and focused on the performances.
Basement Circuits is an independent experiment in building a regular space for curious sounds, artists and listeners.
