Author Talk - Will Stuart

A routine flight departs Sydney Airport and extraordinarily strong Southern Lights force the passenger jet into a different time.

There is no place to land, therefore they ditch in Botany Bay next to the only sign of civilisation… an old sailing ship.

Immediately the plane occupants are forced to interact with James Cook and First Nations people living around the bay. They have a chance to influence history. What if nobody recommended to English authorities that Australia be settled? Would Australia be better or worse than it is now?

Will Stuart is a teacher who lives in the Adelaide Hills. A Southern Light is his third book, and he is in the process of writing a sequel to A Southern Light .
