Adventure Quest
Three 2-hour drop-off adventure sessions (28–30 Sep) for 6–8 year olds to build social skills through team missions and cooperative games

Time: 10.00am - 12.00pm
Join MCM ECIS for a fun and engaging group experience designed to support children's participation, learning, and development through meaningful activities and shared experiences.
Across 3 x 2 hour sessions , children will participate in a range of activities tailored to the focus of the group. Activities may include team missions, treasure hunts, obstacle courses, cooperative challenges and adventure-based games.
Activities are adapted to support a range of communication styles, learning profiles, strengths, interests, and support needs. Visual supports, predictable routines, and responsive facilitation may be used throughout the program to support participation and engagement.
Facilitated by an experienced Child Development Specialist and Allied Health Assistant.
Group Goals:
Children will have opportunities to: Build connections with peers through shared activities and interests. Contribute to group experiences and decision-making Engage in imaginative, creative, and cooperative play experiences. Experience success with manageable challenges. Develop confidence identifying when they need support or a break. Build confidence taking on new responsibilities.

This group may be suitable for: Children aged 6 - 8 yrs Children who are developing their communication, social interaction, and teamwork skills Children who would like support to build confidence in communication, problem-solving, self-advocacy, and participation with peers Children who enjoy adventures, treasure hunts, obstacle courses, puzzles, missions, and cooperative games Children with a range of strengths, communication styles, learning profiles, and support needs Children who thrive in active, hands-on learning environments and benefit from structured opportunities to practise social and communication skills in a fun, neuroaffirming setting.
[This is a drop-off group. MCM ECIS staff will support children to participate throughout the session.]
