Frequently Asked Questions: Why 1.4 miles and not 1 mile? We're running 1.4 miles to represent the turnover metric of 1400 - 1600 teachers leaving the state every year.
What's the cost of the run? Pay What You Can! Be it $6.60, to represent our BSA, which is at the bottom of the $6–$11k national range, or $27.98, for the 2798 less students enrolled in public school in 2026.
