Tweens (Grades 5–6) design and build mini parol lanterns while learning about Filipino culture for Filipino American History Month
Patrons will celebrate Filipino American History Month by learning about the parol, a traditional star-shaped lantern from the Philippines that symbolizes hope, family, and light during the holiday season.
Kids design and build their own mini parol using simple craft materials while learning about Filipino culture and community traditions.
