Wine & Spirits
A Halloween wine tasting of four ghostly wines, with your choice of a tarot or palm reading at a Hackney wine bar.
Wine, Supernatural Spirits, and Perhaps a Little Glimpse Into Your Future
Join us on Friday 30th October from 7pm onwards for Wine & Spirits at In Vino Veritas on Well Street, our Halloween wine tasting full of spooky wines, ghost stories, strange legends, tarot reading and palmistry.
For the tasting, we'll be pouring four wines from places steeped in ghosts, folklore and strange legends. With each glass, we'll explore the wine itself, where it comes from and the story behind its place in our Halloween line-up.
This is very much a fun, relaxed tasting, no wine knowledge necessary. We'll give you a little background on each wine and a guide to what you might taste, but there's no right or wrong answer. The important part is discovering what you enjoy.
Your £40 Ticket Includes 4 x 75ml wine tasters A relaxed guided tasting through four wines and the stories behind them Your choice of a tarot reading or palm reading When booking, please choose whether you would like a tarot or palm reading so we can organise your reading for the evening. Tarot & Palm Reading Alongside the wine tasting, your ticket includes your choice of a tarot or palm reading.
Tarot readings will be with Laura — @laura_tarot_and_coffee
Palm readings will be with Asha — @guidinghandreadings
Simply choose which reading you would prefer when booking your ticket. Coming Alone? You absolutely don't need to bring a group. We'll have a communal table for solo guests and anyone who fancies meeting some new people over a few glasses of wine.
You're equally welcome to come with a friend or as a group and have your own table. Come Early & Stay Afterwards The tasting starts at 7pm, but the bar will be open from 5pm, so you're very welcome to arrive early, grab a table and settle in with a cocktail or glass of wine before we begin.
The guided tasting will finish at approximately 9:30pm, but there's no need to rush off — the bar will stay open until 11pm, with additional wines, cocktails and other drinks available to purchase throughout the evening. Food & Snacks We'll have cheese boards, olives and a selection of other snacks available to order from the bar throughout the evening.
We also collaborate with Yard Sale Pizza, so if you fancy something a little more substantial, pizza can be ordered directly to the bar on the night.
