The Van Cortlandt Park 50k

Founded in 2023 this ultramarathon is designed for a novice to be able to safely complete while also remaining challenging for experienced runners to be able to enjoy a fast time testing their endurance. The course is ten loops of the classic cross country course after an initial lap of the flats. There are rocks and roots but they’re not plentiful.

Overall elevation is about 2200ft

The aid station will be fully stocked with water and gatorade, salty and sweet snacks, fruits and more. You’ll also have easy access to any drop bag you want with your personal items/hydration/nutrition no longer than 1.5 miles away at the furthest point.

There are custom medals, a limited edition singlet, a hot meal and a cold beer post race for each finisher

Overall winners will receive a trophy and cash
