SVÆRM x ELEVATE presents their first hybrid event. Live performances, short films, artwork, objects and DJs will swarm the venue. SVÆRM and ELEVATE invite you to an adventurous night of exhibition and music at Basement, a portal into a universe of emerging artists, and a spotlight on genres that don't yet have a home on Copenhagen's scene. Music / Art / Cinema, with a focus on women, POC and queer artists.
SVÆRM gives a platform to new artists and aims to be a welcoming, diverse art community <33 Paintings and photo series from an open call of hand-picked artists will transform one side of the floor into an art oasis away from the noise, while an outdoor cinema takes over the courtyard, projected onto the wall. SVÆRM shines a light on emerging women and nonbinary DJs, building a diverse musical universe spanning ambient to hyperpop.
Lineup: SVÆRM collective: Hella (she/her) — Newborn machine discovers nostalgia Nymager (she/her) — Deep industrial beats with a playful touch. Genfødt (they/them, she/her) — A hybrid illbient experimental set with live vocals. Myzies (they/them) — Based in London, bringing latin x with trancy beats to basement cph. DJ CÆCIL (she/her) — Hyperpop tunes and cunty berlin clubmusic. DJ Lama (she/her) — Spitting breakbeats!
ELEVATE collective: AMITTET B2B CYNTI (he/him, she/her) — CYNTI's cunty tech house, driven by vocals and heavy bass drums, with AMITTET inspired by the San Diego bass house scene.
