One-day friendly Warhammer The Old World 2000‑point tournament in Reading with three rounds and a 16-player cap
Welcome!
We will be running a one day, 3 game, 2000 point Old World event on Saturday October 10th in Reading. Renegade Pack Legacy army rules https://www.squarebased.com/, including current drafts that have been released by submission day, will be permitted. Square Based Comp https://thehonestwargamer.com/warhammer-the-old-world/square-based-comp/ will be in effect, using the version available on submission day. Any new books release before submission day will be permitted.
Whilst there are no additional house rules/limitations applied in addition to the above, I want to take a moment to state that this is designed very much as a casual, friendly event and I hope players will take that spirit into consideration when designing and submitting their armies (required by Sunday 4th October). Fully painted armies not mandatory, but always lovely to see.

Schedule is very much TBA (pairings will be made available a couple of days before), but will approximately follow this scheme:
1. 09:00-09:15 - Arrival and registration (well basically checking in on BCP) 2. 09:20-12:00 - Game One Drawn Battle Lines with Strategic Locations (3) and Domination 3. 12:00-13:00 - Break for lunch 4. 13:05-15:45 - Game Two Encirclement with Strategic Locations (4,) Baggage Trains and Special Feature 5. 15:50-18:30 - Game Three Upon the Fields of Glory with Strategic Locations (3) and Baggage Trains 6. 18:40-19:00 - Results and Prizes (please note, the prize pool will be impacted by number of attendees but we will endeavor to have something regardless of how many players we get).

Please specify the event name, number of tickets bought and player names associated with those tickets & their email addresses in the reference field when sending payment. All remaining funds after hall hire and prize pool will go to our hosts, Spiky Club. For this reason, please pay via Friends&Family. We are capping the event at 16 players. Once payment has been made, we will add those players to the event on BCP.
