Path Makeover Day
Lend a hand at Gosforth Nature Reserve: shift aggregate and wheelbarrow materials to improve paths for people and protect wildlife.
About this event
Fancy a bit of fresh air, a workout and a chance to make a real difference for wildlife? Join us at Gosforth Nature Reserve to help move aggregate and improve our paths, making them easier for more people to explore.
There's plenty of material to shift, so bring your enthusiasm and get ready to muck in! By improving our paths, we'll help make the reserve more accessible while encouraging visitors to stick to the designated routes, protecting the surrounding habitats and the wildlife that calls them home.
No special skills needed, just a willingness to get stuck in. Let's move some stone and make a difference! 💪
What you'll be doing:
🌾 Shovelling and moving path materials
🍂 Transporting materials using wheelbarrows to other areas of the reserve
No previous experience is needed, and all equipment will be provided. Just bring sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing and a willingness to get stuck in!
Come along, lend a hand and help us care for this incredible site.
