Off Label Art
Stained glass, watercolor and mosaic works by Randy Humbert, with pieces by his brother Brian, at the Evansville Art Center.
Randy Humbert is an artist based in Evansville, Minnesota, working primarily in stained glass and watercolor pencil while exploring new possibilities in mosaics. Randy takes an open-ended approach to art, following his curiosity wherever it leads. Randy describes his eclectic work as "Off Label Art." Rather than focusing on one subject or style, he begins with a question: "I wonder if this will work?"
This exhibition will also feature pieces by Randy's brother, Brian Humbert.. Quiet and introverted, Brian found in art a way to express what words sometimes could not. His work offers a glimpse into his feelings, humor, and view of the world, giving him a meaningful way to connect with others and feel seen.
