ABOUT THE SHOW:
METHTACULAR! is Steven Strafford’s hilarious, harrowing, and ultimately hopeful autobiographical solo show about addiction, survival, and the long road back to oneself. Using outrageous stories, original songs, and unflinching honesty, Strafford recounts the three years he spent addicted to crystal meth while pursuing an acting career in Chicago. Moving between sharp comedy and painful revelation, METHTACULAR! explores the lies we tell others, the lies we tell ourselves, and the unexpected grace of getting another chance. It is a fiercely funny and deeply human celebration of recovery and the stubborn instinct to survive.
