A look behind the curtain of Alcoholics Anonymous in Australia.

An event for professionals to better understand AA and how they can help people connect to it.

Come and listen to five AA members share their personal stories, enjoy a three-course meal, and hear Dr Stephen Jurd , a psychiatrist specialising in addiction medicine, present the Cochrane Review findings on Alcoholics Anonymous.

Free for professionals.

A professional is anyone who in their professional capacity might come across an alcoholic: social workers, corrections workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counsellors, doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges, politicians, academic staff, faith leaders etc.

AA Members must bring a professional to attend. $25 donation. (If you are both a professional and an AA member please attend as a member).
