Welcome to The Gale-Force Open! Set across 16 custom tables for a capped 32-player field, this event brings local generals together out of the bitter January wind for a high-intensity weekend of matched play, hot club food, and community celebration.

3. Format & Army Construction Rule set: Games Workshop Warhammer Age of Sigmar
(Matched Play / Current GHB).
Point Limit: 2,000 Points per army.
Army Lists: Must be submitted via Best Coast Pairings (BCP) by January 9, 4. Late submissions will incur a battle point penalty. 2028. 5. Painting Standard: This will be a no paint requirement event. Fully painted armies qualify for the Players' Choice painting ballot, and will be entered into a draw.
6. Trophies and prizes will be awarded for Best Overall, Top General, Favourite Painted, and Best Sportsman. Prizes will also be distributed across the remaining record brackets and general standings. The Wooden Spoon will be presented with a comedic trophy and consolation package, followed by a massive weekend door and raffle prize draw immediately preceding the final awards ceremony, with additional tickets earned through early-bird list submissions and community events.
