A 2.5-hour guided movement workshop to quiet the thinking mind and access flow state through dance — no experience needed.

When movement becomes instinct.

What happens when you stop thinking about how you're moving and simply let your body take over?

FlowShop is a 2.5-hour methodical movement workshop designed to help you find an easier way to access your flow state through dance.

Created from years of exploring and reverse-engineering the experience of flow, FlowShop offers a step-by-step approach to moving beyond conscious thought and into instinctive, effortless movement.

Through a series of guided exercises and practical techniques, we'll explore how to quiet the thinking mind, let go of self-consciousness, connect with music and allow movement to happen naturally.

Who is it for?

Absolutely anyone!

Whether you're a professional dancer looking to unlock your improvisation, a creative wanting to explore new ways of expressing yourself, someone who feels shy or restricted on the dance floor, or simply curious about the experience of flow — this workshop is for you.

No dance experience necessary.

Just an open mind and a willingness to explore!

Beyond the dance floor. 🌀

Flow state isn't limited to dancing. The belief behind FlowShop is that by learning to recognise and access flow through movement, we can develop the ability to tap into that same state in other forms of creativity and everyday life.

This isn't a choreography class or an ecstatic dance session. It's a guided, practical exploration of how to move from thinking into feeling — and discover the freedom that comes with it.

About your facilitator

Tokia is a multidisciplinary performance artist, dancer, creative director and the creator of FlowShop .

With a degree in Performing Arts and specialist training in corporeal mime under Corinne Soum and Steven Wasson, Tokia's creative journey has taken her across a wide range of disciplines, from physical theatre and immersive performance to dance, festival production and directing her own shows.

She has performed at events and festivals including Lovebox, elrow and Morning Gloryville, worked as a motivational dancer and crowd energiser, created and produced her own festival, and is a member of the UK Shuffle community.

At the heart of Tokia's relationship with movement is her experience of synesthesia . Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon through which she experiences sound visually. Every sound has its own colour or shape, and together they create an ever-changing visual world. Sometimes it's a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns, sometimes abstract shapes in motion, and other times entire scenes, stories.

Tokia brings FlowShop to the Gloryville community and is looking forward to sharing this experience with you.
