Fellowship 20k 2k Championship Cup
Structure (modeled after world cup)
Group play - winning games matters most - total points matter only in that your personal point differential (earned vs. given) will be used to settle any ties in group play and your seeding going into the knockout stage.
The opening weekend will be a 4-5 (based on player count) round tournament in which you will play every other player in your group. Groups will be randomized. Winners + ‘x’ players will advance to the knockout stage. *If player count is 16 or lower - all players will advance BUT the tournament will determine seeding for the knockout stage. If we have more than 16 players we will move to two different knockout brackets, Championship & Consolation.
Knockout Stage: Once we have our final player count and can determine bracket size, we will post the match schedules. Players losing in the 1st round of Championship Bracket will enter an option consolation bracket and/or be given a 1st round bye to that bracket if we had enough players to establish that bracket following group play. Players will have a certain predetermined time period (will be no less than 10 days, allowing plenty of time for flexible scheduling) in which to schedule their match against their posted opponent and report the results. Winners advance! This will continue until we have a true 10th Edition 40k Champion!
Event will include food & prizes for group play + prizes for top finishers in knockout stages

Early Member Entry Fee (registered and paid on or before April 16th) | $50
Early Non-Member Entry Fee (registered and paid on or before April 16th) | $60
Member Late Entry (registered and paid April 17th - April 22nd) | $60
Non-Member Late Entry (registered and paid April 17th - April 22nd) | $75
Extreme late entry - At discretion of T.O. and only if space permits | $100
LIST & ARMY UPDATES: Lists are DUE APRIL 22nd | All lists are locked for duration of event (including knockout stage) - any army rules, point updates or errata released by GW after April 22 will not be in effect during the tournament.
Terrain and Other Rules
Board layouts will be set each day and remain the same for each round of the day.
Mission Pack will be given to you once registration and payment is complete
1st floor of ruins block line of site **it is only a 3” move to get to 2nd floor of terrain
You must be obscured by physical terrain OR wholly w/in ruin template to receive benefit of cover
You may fight through terrain IF any model(s), attacking or defending are in base contact with the terrain AND with ONLY the model(s) that are within engagement range of the opposing unit/model.
NO twists will be used | NO challenge cards
