Weekly barefoot, wordless ecstatic dance journey with live-mixed music for free-form movement.
Ecstatic dance every Thursday from 8:45pm to 10:30pm, at Edgewood Arts Center, 3415 8th St NE, Washington, DC 20017.
No choreography: you move freely to a live-mixed musical journey, barefoot and without talking.
Three simple rules — dance barefoot (socks are fine), stay wordless (the body says enough), and come as you are: no alcohol or drugs, no phones or photos, just respect for yourself, the space and everyone else.
Price: $20.
Getting there: Edgewood Arts Center is located across from the Brookland Arts Walk on the red line metro. Parking is free along residential side streets and there is an adjacent parking lot with limited space available..
