Free Draught-Proofing Workshop where you'll learn practical skills to keep your home warm, save money and help the planet.

Do you want to make your home feel warmer and save money on your energy bill? Would you like to banish pesky draughts but don't know where to start? Think draught-proofing is something "only the professionals" do? This free workshop is the place to come and have a go with no pressure of getting it right. You will learn all about why we draught-proof and how to do it at home, no matter your skill level. Gain confidence using simple tools that make a big difference, have a go with different techniques and make a custom plan for your home. Try out caulking, expandable foam, and different tapes and strips that can easily be fitted without any power tools, nails or expert DIY skills. You'll leave with all the kit you'll need for your first project, loads of samples from our Cosy Homes bar, and an activity book filled with your notes and ideas. This hands-on workshop will include free food, demos and practical exercises, a chance to meet like-minded draught-proofers, and plenty of advice, whatever your experience. We have done the research, found the materials, sourced suppliers and know you can do this too (and it's very satisfying and even fun!) Arrive from 6pm for free food.
