BigMama, the stage name of Marianna Mammone, is a rapper and singer-songwriter born in Avellino, Italy, in 2000. She is known for her direct and authentic lyrics, which explore themes such as inclusion, discrimination, body positivity, and personal empowerment.
After moving to Milan in 2019, she quickly established herself as one of the most compelling voices in Italy’s new urban music scene. In 2024, she competed at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song La Rabbia Non Ti Basta and released her debut album, Sangue. The same year, she made her debut as an author with the book Cento Occhi and was invited to deliver a speech at the United Nations Headquarters in New York before an audience of more than 2,000 young people.
Through new releases, tours, television appearances, and social engagement, BigMama continues to build a distinctive artistic path, marked by energy, irony, and a strong connection to contemporary issues.
