2WaL' is the musical project of prolific songwriter Mark Schubert, with well over 1,000 original songs written and archived.

Part heavy western, part desert blues, part nightmare ballad — always with a glimmer of hope — 2WaL' inhabits a world somewhere between a dusty frontier and the darker corners of the human mind.

Armed with his pedalboard, "The Mothership," a couple of vintage Gibsons, harmonicas, whistle and a voice that has lived a few stories, Mark creates a sound that wouldn't feel out of place in a Sergio Leone film. Expect epic, slow-burning songs that gradually pull you in, alongside short, sharp numbers packed with well-travelled lyrics, dark humour and stories of life on the road.
