The Quantum Committee

The Quantum Committee Sextet blends traditional jazz with innovation and passion. Meeting in the Western Michigan jazz studies program, the sextet features Jacob Nowakowski (bass), Rohan Marr (drums), Caleb Downey (piano), Haden Bovee (saxophone), Colin Woniewski (trombone) and Joji Klooster (saxophone).

Inspired by jazz legends such as Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman and John Coltrane, the group performs original compositions by Jacob Nowakowski that merge the rich history of jazz with their own inventive solos and textures.
