The last time Europe went dark was 1999 — the shadow cone cutting a line from Cornwall to Transylvania. Since antiquity, eclipses were read as omens, the mark of gods at war, the moment cosmic order briefly cracked open. This August it happens again. The Moon's shadow sweeps down from Greenland, over Iceland and into Spain, as darkness rolls across our own land, from Galicia to the Balearics, crossing Catalunya.
SYZYGY is a one-day, one-night (from 18:00 to 09:00) transformational gathering, taking place 12 August 2026, during Catalunya's total solar eclipse. Music, art, and nature, in one of the most striking landscapes of our territory — a hidden paradise in Terra Alta, southern Catalunya, an hour and forty from Barcelona. Exact location kept secret, sent by email closer to the date. Free parking, free camping, free showers and pool, food on site.
A curated international lineup of 11 artists, rooted in Barcelona's underground collectives and from abroad, spanning the full spectrum of electronic music — welcoming you to witness something that won't happen here again in our lifetime. The ticket for the event also includes a pair of EU-certified eclipse sunglasses to look up safely at the exact moment of the syzygy – the alignment of the Earth, Moon and Sun.
