Post-hardcore alternative rock band Sparta live in Nottingham with support from Hammok
Sparta is an American post-hardcore / alternative rock band formed in El Paso, Texas, in 2001 by Jim Ward, Paul Hinojos and Tony Hajjar following the breakup of At the Drive-In. Known for melodic yet intense rock, they released acclaimed albums like Wiretap Scars (2002) and Porcelain (2004). After various hiatuses they reunited in 2017.
