Read to a Therapy Dog

Stop by Manning and read to Izzy, a certified therapy dog! Dogs don't mind if you make any mistakes; they just love spending time with you. Reading to a dog can help build a reader's confidence and encourage reluctant readers.

For kids ages 3 to 13.

Canine Therapy Corps is a Chicago-based network of volunteers and certified therapy dogs assisting those with physical and emotional challenges and people experiencing stress or anxiety.
