MAC Teens Summer Art School

Are you a young artist aged 11-15? This week-long Summer Art School is the perfect way to spend time developing your own style, ideas and voice through visual art with guidance from Anann’s Arch artists Kerrie and Ash. We will explore themes important to you, taking inspiration from nearby street art and exploring how art can promote solidarity, equality and community. We will spend time developing your unique art style and approach to characters via a range of approaches: across the week you’ll explore zine-making, proportion and character design, sculpting a face in clay, and create your own mural-sized final work informed by street art style. This is a space to experiment, have fun and create artwork that reflects who you are and what you care about!
