Last week we used a WOO-procedure to request the municipality to make all information regarding their supposed plans for our building public. Our message to them is simple: if a training center is really that important, and the only location you have for it is at the Jeugdsjoel, then prove it to the citizens of the city.

In principle, the municipality has 4 weeks to grant this request. However, it can be extended by another 2 weeks. We sincerely hope that the municipality understands the urgency behind making this information public before the courtcase; the citizens of Groningen deserve to know how the municipality came to these decisions.

While the court hearing will most likely be public, this way we can let the court know how many people we expect, so that there will be space for everyone. Keep an eye on our socials: we will let you know where in the building the hearing will take place. Keep in mind that it is smart to be approx. 15 minutes early!
