Escaping Flatland - SF Meetup
Informal San Francisco meetup to discuss two essays from the Substack Escaping Flatland and share ideas in small groups
Meetup for Henrik Karlsson readers (of the Substack Escaping Flatland) and other interesting people in San Francisco!
Come meet, talk, and spend a relaxed afternoon together :)
We'll be doing a mix of conversation, idea-sharing, and light creative exploration. To give us a common reference point, I'll send out 2 of Henrik's essays to read/re-read beforehand along with potential discussion topics.
Agenda: 2:00–2:30pm: Arrivals and warm introductions 2:30–4:00pm: Break off into smaller groups. We'll work through 2 of Henrik's essays with targeted questions and smaller group discussions. 4:00pm–whenever: Follow up conversations and any spontaneous plans that may develop! Note we will need to exit the space by 5:00pm, but you are welcome to spend time nearby outdoors at Patricia's Green.
Format: Think of this as like a book club style event, but with essays to make it more digestible. Recommended: reading the 2 essays in advance: "Everything that turned out well in my life followed the same design process" and "Relationships are coevolutionary loops."
What to bring: Yourself! Optional: pen, paper, and a water bottle.
EDIT: We have over 100 signups! We've put an event cap for now — you can continue to register for the waitlist. For everyone who registered please update your RSVP if you can't make the event.
Mesmo local: San Francisco
