Hands-on cooking workshop for tweens (9–13) to make Veggie Fried Rice and learn basic culinary and sanitation skills
Join us for a cooking workshop presented by Schoolhouse Kitchen + Studio. Tween chefs will learn how to build flavor and texture in a recipe as they prepare Veggie Fried Rice together using fresh veggies and a homemade sauce. This cooking event will help young people learn basic culinary and sanitation skills for home cooking.
For kids 9 to 13.
How to Attend Register by 1 p.m. the day before the event. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
