Chess for Fun (All Ages)
Drop-in community chess sessions at Brighouse Library for players and spectators of all levels.
Whether a beginner or an established chess veteran, we invite you to the library to share your love of the game. Participants are welcome to bring their own chess board, pieces, or clock, but there will also be plenty available at the program. Spectators welcome!
Presented in partnership with Richmond Chess Club
RPL is working to reduce barriers and offer programs where everyone can participate equitably. Please email library staff to let them know how they might make your library experience more comfortable and accessible. Information about the library’s accessible services can be found on the library website.
Library representatives may take photos and videos for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please speak to a staff member. Participants of online programs and events are asked not to take screenshots or record programs.
If you have any questions, please connect with library staff.
