BIB Foray I

Welcome to BIB Foray I, a 500 point Warhammer: The Old World matched play event hosted at Board in Brum.

Foray is a smaller-format way to play Warhammer: The Old World, designed to make games quicker, easier to get into, and ideal for learning the system.

This event is intended to be welcoming, friendly and perfect for beginners. Whether you are brand new to Warhammer: The Old World, returning from Warhammer Fantasy Battles, building a new army, or simply looking for a relaxed day of smaller games, this event is for you.

We are grateful to TSN Arena for giving us their blessing to run Foray events at Board in Brum.

Ruleset

This event uses the tSN 500-Point Foray ruleset.

Players should read the ruleset before attending and ensure their army has been built correctly for the format.

Board in Brum has purchased official Foray scenario cards to help run the event. These will be available as event reference copies where practical, but players should not assume that every table will have its own copy.

Army Building

Each player will bring a 500 point army built using the official Foray ruleset.

Armies must:

Be no more than 500 points

Follow the Foray army construction rules

Use the latest Warhammer: The Old World rules, FAQs and errata

Be submitted before the list deadline

Use genuine Games Workshop, Citadel or Forge World miniatures

List submission deadline: 16/08/2026 @ 23:59

Miniatures and WYSIWYG

All models must be genuine Games Workshop, Citadel or Forge World miniatures.

Classic Warhammer Fantasy models, current Warhammer: The Old World models, and suitable Games Workshop conversions are welcome.

Third-party miniatures, 3D-printed substitute models, and non-GW proxy armies are not permitted.

WYSIWYG is required. Units, weapons, equipment, command models and characters should be clear to your opponent.

If you are using older models, unusual conversions or anything that may cause confusion, contact the TO before the event.
