Android Apps for Beginners

This class is for beginners who are curious about buying an Android phone or tablet, or who have acquired one and want to install apps. Android phones include those manufactured by Samsung, Google, Motorola, and OnePlus.

In this beginner's class, you will learn about:

- what apps are, and the benefits of using them

- the differences between pre-installed, free, and paid apps

- how to access and use the Google Play Store

- how to evaluate, download and use apps

At the end of the class, you will have a basic understanding of how to install apps on your Android device through the Google Play Store.

Bring your own device: if you have an Android device, feel free to bring it with you and follow along with the exercises.
