Aging Well in Chicago: Services, Support, and Community
Join us at the Chicago Bee Library for an informative presentation from the Chicago Department of Family & Support Services (DFSS) Senior Services Division to learn about the wide range of programs and resources available to older adults, caregivers, and families across Chicago. Participants will gain an overview of DFSS, its mission, and its role as Chicago’s Area Agency on Aging.
Topics will include Medicare counseling and benefits assistance, home-delivered meals, congregate dining programs, senior centers, chore services, caregiver support, dementia-friendly communities, case advocacy, elder rights, and legal services. Attendees will also learn how these programs help older adults remain independent, connected, and supported in their communities.
Whether you are an older adult, a caregiver, a family member, or simply interested in learning more about services for Chicago’s aging population, this program offers valuable information and an opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A session.
Free and open to the public.
