95MP is an independent drum and bass duo based out of New Orleans. With Miami bassist Miles Hancock and New Orleans’s native Peter Varnado on drums, this high-energy instrumental duo explores sounds that are cinematic, grooving, intimate, and expansive. At times, the band’s music “feels reflective and immersive, closer to a drifting landscape than a conventional band performance” (-RBR.Music podcast, @rbr.music). Miles and his bold use of pedals and FX combined with Peter’s tasteful and introspective drumming have led 95MP to a sonic region that is entirely their own.

Echo Selector features Medellin producer Juan Esteban Herrera (AKA Ruido Selecto) and Nashville drummer Carlos Ortiz-Martínez. The dub and reggae project is a hybrid of analog and digital sounds, blending rhythms of ska, steppa and a command of heavy dub and bass. All of those ingredients complemented by the percussive patterns of the Colombian Caribbean, and sharpened via the digital edges of synthesizers and beat machines… Echo Selector is born for the sound system.
