Ready to Read Program: A Free Session for Parents and Carers of Children Aged 0-6 years. Learn simple, practical ways tosupport your child’s language and early literacy through booksand stories. You will find out about how to • choose age-appropriate books for babies, toddlers and preschoolers • use books in ways that help a child to develop their language and earlyliteracy skills • keep children listening and engagingwith stories and • bring reading into your everyday experiences. This session is especially helpful if you are finding reading together challenging. Developed by EarlyEd speech pathologists and early childhood teachers.
