Case 137

Set against the backdrop of mass protests in Paris, Case 137 follows Stéphanie, a meticulous internal affairs investigator working on the case of a teenager severely wounded by police fire. As she searches for the truth her inquiry collides with institutional resistance and pressure mounts as the case takes a personal turn when she discovers the victim is from her hometown.

This powerful and timely (and Palme D'Or nominated) drama is directed by Dominik Moll (The Night of the 12th), and stars Léa Drucker (Custody), who won the César Award for her performance, and Guslagie Malanda, the breakout star of Saint Omer. "Much like the case itself, a crime drama performed and crafted with this level of care and social resonance is well worth investigating." - from Time Out's 4-star review of Case 137.
