Stanley Arts’ Creative Ageing Celebration
Community celebration with tea, taster movement and craft activities for people 55+ and those living with dementia at Stanley Arts
Stanley Arts is celebrating 1 year of Dance for Health & The Craft‑Tea Sessions. Join us for tea, taster activities, and a chance to hear about what’s on the horizon for our on‑going Creative Ageing programme.
Starting in May 2025 with funding from the NLCF, Stanley Arts has been working with Noyale Colin and Good Wolf People to provide a social and active space for the 55+ community, and those living with dementia in the form of movement workshops and facilitated craft sessions. With the support of Croydon Almshouses, we have been able to continue this work into 2026, and as our funded activity draws to a close, we want to celebrate the experience with everybody who has joined us to make this project such a special privilege for our building.
If you are living with dementia, or 55+, please join us! Even if you have not been a part of our Creative Ageing activity to date, we have high hopes for the future of our programme and would love to share our journey with you.
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided for all attendees. We will have optional taster activities throughout the event, but if you do not feel up for participation, please join us for a chat and a biscuit if you would like to meet some of our team and participants!
If you have any access requirements, please give us a call on 020 8251 0184 or email us on bookings@stanleyarts.org and we will be happy to help.
Made possible thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund & Croydon Almshouses (via the Croydon Relief In Need fund).
