Included in the ticket price is an afternoon workshop 2.30pm - 5pm to introduce participants at any level of experience the art of the Breton folk dance. The day will finish with the evening dance/bal from 7.15 to 10.15 with music provided by the creative talents of Kantref, a five piece band based across Wales who have played for many French Dance events and festivals throughout the UK and in France. Their line up of fiddles, accordian , mandolins, guitar and double bass creates an exciting, authentic sound and they play both traditional tunes and their own compositions for dances from Brittany and central France.
Dance tuition will be provided by Annette Davies who is based in Aberystwyth and with many years’ experience of teaching French and Welsh dancing has built up a reputation of being one of the best teachers in the UK.
Bring your own refreshments for both afternoon and evening.
