We are Tracy & Ruth, two friends who are absolutely passionate about all crafts — sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, macrame, wreathmaking — we honestly believe ANYone can craft! That's why we started Project Preloved! Crafting is so good for your mental wellbeing so come along to one of our workshops and discover a new talent! Two hours of protected time just for you. How does that sound? We will provide the tools you need for the workshops. All you need to do is come along and enjoy. You will (should?!) have a completed item with which to return home. "I made this" you will proudly declare to your loved ones and pets! It has been our personal experience that when you want to start a new craft, or just try one out, you have to spend a lot on buying tools or all the supplies you'll need... and then you have no idea if you'll even like it! You don't necessarily want to sign up for a 6 week course and that’s why our 2 hour workshops are perfect. We see so much wastage all around us. While some of us are concerned and do all we can to recycle, upcycle, and reuse, sadly not everyone in our society follows this ethos. Here at PP we want to be as sustainable as we can, aiming to reuse materials we already have, however there are occasions that we have to buy the odd thing new.
