
Ukulele Songs Workshop
Two-hour free ukulele workshop teaching educators simple songs and techniques to use with young children
Learn ukulele basics and tips for using this instrument to share songs with a group of young children.
This early language and literacy workshop provides free professional development for early childhood educators (ECE), childcare providers, and adults currently working with young children in the community. The workshop is available to those living and/or working in Vancouver. Certificates will be issued by email following completion of the workshop.
Workshops are two hours long. Online application required. Priority for registration will be given to those who did not attend the April workshop; applicants who attended the previous event will be waitlisted and contacted if a spot is available.
Accessibility information: Takes place in a programming room. The programming room is down 16 stairs; a staff-assisted elevator is available for patrons who require it. Participants are welcome to move, stim, or take breaks as needed. Participants can sit on the floor, in chairs or stand at any time.
