Tengu x Supper presents: Magda

Tengu links with Supper to invite minimal house pioneer Magda for her Tengu debut and her first Dublin club show in over 13 years!

Poland born and Detroit raised, Magda brings a wide cultural perspective, finding beauty and potential in derelict places. Beginning in Detroit's underground scene, she toured early with Richie Hawtin in 1998 and has since forged a strong international career as a selector and DJ.

Notable mix accolades include the Essential Mix, Timewarp, Fabric and her seminal 2006 mix 'She's A Dancing Machine' on Minus. Solo releases are relatively rare but her 2010 debut on Minus 'From The Fallen Page' combined Detroit techno and dancefloor functionality. Collaboration and label work are central: she runs Items & Things with Marc Houle and Troy Pierce, a label known for off-kilter and avant‑garde electronic releases.
