In the depths of Mexico City, a maelstrom of sound has been brewing. Sunset Images, a sonic entity fueled by Samuel Osorio, transcends krautrock, shoegaze and punk into a layered soundscape of dissonance, cathartic release and emotional depth.
Known for intense live performances, Sunset Images have toured extensively and released EPs and a debut LP confronting violence, racism and misogyny while addressing loneliness, anger and desperation.
They join Dedstrange (Oliver Ackermann of A Place To Bury Strangers / Death by Audio) for their new album "Oscilador", released 23 January 2026. The record is described as a sonic resistance manifesto: fractured synths, pulsating vocals, primitive drums and feedback-drenched guitars collide into a brutal, raw yet accessible aural landscape.
