Southeastern Gathering

Early Bird tickets are now open for the Friday–Sunday main Gathering weekend. Tuesday–Thursday Pickin' Parlour shows, themes, and tickets will be announced later.

Six days of strings, songs, and stories. Southeastern Gathering brings bluegrass, Irish trad, old-time music, workshops, jams, songs, stories, and close-up acoustic concerts to Public House Bangkok.

The first headliners are being announced. Japanese bluegrass band Bluegrass Police will be one of the headliners of Southeastern Gathering 2026. Formed in Tokyo in 2010, the band has played across Japan for more than fifteen years—and their recent playful banjo videos have reached millions of viewers online. Also joining us from Sydney, Australia is Cameron Mather, an Irish tenor banjo player, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher rooted in Australia's Irish traditional music and session community. More headliners and the full six-day programme will be announced soon.

Week at a glance Tuesday–Thursday: The Pickin' Parlour, intimate acoustic evenings upstairs at Public House with city views, each shaped around a musician, instrument, or theme. Friday: Welcome Jam / Free Flow, limited to 50 people. Saturday: Main Gathering, limited to 100 people. Sunday: Songs & Stories brunch, limited to 50 people.

Expect banjos, fiddles, mandolins, guitars, flutes, harps, voices, and stories, with musicians rooted in these traditions and a Bangkok community that keeps growing each year.

Is there parking? Parking is limited. We recommend BTS/MRT or taxi. The venue is between BTS Phrom Phong and BTS Asok, with MRT Sukhumvit nearby.

Are kids allowed? One child under 12 may attend free with each ticket-holding adult. This is a mostly acoustic festival, so parents and guardians are asked to help keep the listening space respectful.

Can I bring an instrument or join a jam? Yes, but only for the Friday Welcome Jam / Free Flow. The other public ticketed days are mainly performance and listening events.
