Soft Palms

Soft Palms is the immersive dream pop project of Julia Kugel and Scott Montoya, a Long Beach duo who create expansive, hypnotic soundscapes from their own studio, Centre of Mental Arts (COMA).

By combining lo-fi warmth with refined textures, Soft Palms feels like a lucid dream captured on analog tape: equally meditative and cinematic. The duo records, produces, and mixes everything themselves, and in 2026 they return with their most extensive work to date: ‘IN ECHO’ (Everloving Records).
