SILK
Queer-led club night in Peckham mixing global club sounds, house and techno — free before 21:30, £6.50 after
Dark summer nights. Sultry vibes. Liberation. This is SILK.
Think silk roads carrying rhythms across borders. Think global sounds woven through house, techno and everything in between. Think one last dance before summer fades.
SILK returns for its second edition, taking over The Greyhound, the new grassroots venue in Peckham from the team behind The Cause and All My Friends. A space built for community, culture and independent music feels like the perfect home for our next gathering.
Curated by Taaz, a North London DJ with Turkish-Cypriot roots, SILK is a queer-led party celebrating the sounds, stories and people that shape underground dance music. We're committed to platforming women, trans, non-binary and gender-expansive artists, alongside underrepresented voices from across the diaspora.
Expect a journey through global club sounds, house and techno, and the occasional classic banger. ALL ARE WELCOME but please remember this is a space to protect, nurture and respect each other and our community.
