Public Speaking Practice

Do you have a presentation or interview coming up? Want to gain confidence with your public speaking and conversation skills? Our meetings are an excellent opportunity for practice.

If you have a presentation or other material prepared which you would like to practice, please notify the organizer with estimated time length through the contact email provided so it can be added to a future meeting agenda. Otherwise, no preparation is needed for new guests.

Meetings are held in a hybrid format. You may attend in person in Group Study Room 2 at Bascom Library or participate through Zoom. You may just observe, or participate by answering a prompt question for 1–2 minutes during the “Impromptu Speech” section of the meeting.

Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and password. Links and passwords are provided by email 24 hours before the program, and again an hour prior. Login information remains the same for each meeting, but please register for each meeting you plan to attend if you wish to receive email reminders.

ADA accommodation requests can be made to the organizer.
